LAW School

Since 1995, LearnAboutWine has provided elevated wine education programs to the City of Los Angeles. Through the years, this  program continues to be tailored to respond to the growing needs of a more educated wine audience and to provide a quality, credential oriented program for both savvy consumers and the hard working wine professionals.

Those familiar with WSET (click here for WSET programs) understand that it teaches you a professional process to taste and discuss wines (b.l.i.c. -  balance, length, intensity and complexity).  While our JWE program supports a similar, repeatable approach, unlike WSET, it also reinforces the tasting with a detailed discussion about the wines. In general we taste 2-3X the number of wines as a WSET level 2 program and provide additional time for commentary, as WSET 2 is only a 3 week program.  The JWE program goes deeper than Level 2 and is very much a preparatory for the WSET level 3 experience.LAW SCHOOL has now extended the JWE program to include 5 tasting dates plus 2 remote sessions and a private student take home exam.
