Trade tastings are how the wine industry in Los Angeles connect. At LearnAboutWine - we not only credential trade but we invite them to the trade tastings. We aim to remain the heart and soul of the Los Angeles wine trade community. Trade are the Sommeliers, Wine Buyers, Beverage Directors, and retail operators. At some restaurants that is the owner or the chef, and sometimes the Owner / Chef... These people do not pay to attend - but they cost the wineries who sponsor the wine tasting and we take this very seriously. We consider trade the hard working members of the industry that are paid hourly or salary by a licensed wine account. Basically - you should be able to place an order at the event if you were inclined to do so - and or reachable as an employee at the account to allow the winery to follow up with you.

There are investors at Restaurants, Wine Committee Members at Country Clubs, and Friends of accounts - I'm sorry - at LearnAboutWine we carry a higher definition of trade and if your a distributor or importer - you need to be invited or have a brand appearing at the event.
