YES, we ship worldwide! Email us at info@learnaboutwine.com with your full address and what you intend to purchase for a quote!
Orders received require “Processing Time” + Shipping (Transit) Time. Orders are processed Tuesday - Thursday. Packages containing alcohol ship weather permitting. If your order lands on a Friday, we typically ship your item out the following Tuesday. Orders placed on Tuesday before 12:00 pm PST will go out the same day depending on inventory location and weather permitting. We are closed on Monday, Saturday, Sunday, Holidays, Observance days - orders will not process/ ship on closed days.
Shipping/Delivery Date and Time are expected estimates and not guaranteed. Once the carrier has possession of the package, we have no control in the sorting, routing, timeline of when the package will be delivered. Please contact the carrier directly and reference your tracking number for the latest transit information on your package.
DIRECT-TO-CONSUMER SHIPPING
We are located in California (CA) and ship to most states where shipment of alcohol is permitted from out of state, some states are DTC Prohibited (Alcoholic Beverage "Direct-To-Consumer" Prohibited States) and not alcohol shipment friendly due to your state's alcohol shipping regulations. Please check with your local authorities to comply with your state law regulations. **Regardless of your order being placed, the shipping cost is subject to change in this situation, depending on your shipping location. If we receive an order for a state that we do not ship to, you will be notified via email and offered an alternative option at our discretion or a refund will be issued. Out-of-State Shipping costs subject to change based on quantity of bottles ordered, shipping address, any specific modifications. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not comply with shipping regulations or shipping costs have not been paid in full by the buyer.

EXPRESS SHIPPING
We ship express during extreme weather conditions to preserve the integrity of the wine. The carrier selection is at the discretion of Learnaboutwine.com. Overnight Express shipping and any Express shipping services is not guaranteed during this worldwide pandemic nor during the holiday season.
EXCLUSIVE SHIPPING OPTION
Yes, we do offer exclusive services. Buyer/Private Client/Receiver has the option to go to extreme lengths to get a package successfully delivered at any time. Additional costs apply, via exclusive private courier dedicated to your priority package. Ground support, etc. is available to assist.
SHIPMENT DELAYS
The pandemic, the holiday season and mother nature may cause extreme backlog in the shipping process, and extreme shipping delays beyond our control.
CARRIER TYPE
is subject to our discretion. We reserve the right to select the carrier that best meets our criteria and experience. Certain non DTC states may require a third-party carrier, additional costs apply. DOOR-TO-DOOR LOCAL PRIVATE COURIER SERVICE
Door-To-Door Local Private courier service is weather permitting, scheduled date & time will be coordinated depending on availability in your area. The courier is unauthorized to leave any shipment/ package containing alcohol unattended for any reason, it is unlawful to leave any shipment/ packages containing alcohol at the door. Additional charges apply for any missed and/or reattempted delivery. We do not offer pick-ups for any package containing alcohol at this time.
ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIRED
Per state and federal law, an adult 21-yrs of age and older with a valid government issued I.D. must be available at the shipping address to sign for any package containing alcohol. The carrier may not leave the package at the door or unattended for any reason, no exceptions. Please make the necessary arrangements for an adult to be available to sign by monitoring and tracking your package for the estimated delivery date and time. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide written notification if an adult is not available to sign for your package at the shipping address you provided on your order.
SHIP TO ADDRESS CHANGE/ ADDRESS REROUTE
For your security and fraud prevention purposes, our policy does not allow us nor anyone to alter, change, or modify shipping addresses that have already been declared on your order. Packages held at the carrier facility are at your own risk and discretion. Any/all address rerouting is prohibited for security and fraud prevention purposes.
PACKAGE HOLD AT CARRIER FACILITY
Buyer/Receiver is responsible for any fees/charges associated with package(s) being held at a location including but not limited to the delivery address, carrier facility, any third party facility, freight forwarding facility, etc.
MISSED/ RE-ATTEMPTED DELIVERY/ RETURN SHIPMENT
We are not responsible for missed/ re-attempted delivery or returned shipments. Additional charges may be incurred by the carrier for missed/ attempted delivery, return shipments due to numerous delivery attempts. Carriers are not authorized to leave any shipments containing alcohol at your door for any reason. (Packages containing alcohol will not have any 'Door Tag' sign-off release authority).
Depending on the wine state of health, the package may be considered a loss and/or spoiled. Buyer/Private Client/Receiver is responsible for any charges related to reattempt delivery, return shipping, spoiled product, return shipping charges, etc. It is the receiver's responsibility to be available to sign for the package or make the necessary arrangements with the carrier to either pick-up the package or pay to reattempt a delivery.
Buyer/Private Client/Receiver is responsible for any return shipping charges for any reason. A investigation will be initiated to determine the cause of a Return of Package shipment. Based on a case-by-case scenario, a possible refund minus the original shipping charges and minus the 20% restocking fee may apply. Our in-house wine expert will initiate a examination on the wine state of health to determine what is refundable/non-refundable. Any return including but not limited to return package, refusal of package, undeliverable address will be subjected to a investigation/product validity and inspection, 20% restocking fee, any/all return shipping charges, any/all return fees. A refund of your order will be processed minus the original shipping rendered, minus the return shipping charges/fees will be incurred.
The Buyer/Private Client/Receiver has the option to pick-up their package from the carrier's facility to avoid further charges. Pick-up subject to service availability, contact the carrier direct for latest details. Additional charges apply any/all reattempt delivery charges and possible fees
INCORRECT ADDRESS
Additional charges will apply to correct or for a solution for all/any incorrect address provided by the Buyer/Private Client/Receiver. Buyer/Private Client is responsible/liable for any/all Incorrect Address corrections made after shipment has been released into the carrier's possession. Address changes of any kind is not available once the package has been released to the carrier and in the carrier's possession
SHIPMENT TO SAME/ OTHER CARRIER
Do not provide a carrier store/shop/shipping address. We do not ship to a carrier store/direct and final destination of a carrier facility/ access point such as but not limited to UPS Store, UPS Access Point, FedEx Store, USPS, etc. Certain carrier stores/facilities/access points etc. may refuse shipments of unknown name/origin/package containing alcohol and the liability attached to it. We may only ship to the Buyer/Private Client/Receiver credit card authorized shipping address or expressly written authorized address of a business or residence other than a carrier's store/facility/access point, carrier related establishments. Buyer/Private Client/Receiver may contact the carrier to determine if a pick-up/will-call option is available at the nearest station for your convenience. Carrier station for pick-up/will-call is at the carrier's discretion and out of our control, please contact the carrier for assistance
WEATHER
Weather conditions may occur shipment delays during warmer or colder months. There is an option to purchase “Expedited Shipping” to try and avoid weather issues, however we do not guarantee the wines will arrive healthy and sound. We do not offer returns, refunds, exchanges, cancellations on wine spoilage. shipments in extreme weather. Wine shipments may be held at our discretion until weather permitting for transit.
RESTOCKING FEE
ANY PACKAGE BEING RETURNED DUE TO ANY FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPT, RETURN TO SENDER DUE TO INACCURATE ADDRESS, RETURN TO SENDER DUE TO DELIVERY ADDRESS RECEIVER REFUSAL WILL ALL BE SUBJECTED TO A 20% RESTOCK FEE, PLUS A THOROUGH INSPECTION OF THE PACKAGE AND ITS CONTENTS. BUY/RECEIVER IS RESPONSIBLE AND FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES/LOSS TO/OF THE PACKAGING AND ITS CONTENTS. A REFUND MINUS ORIGINAL SHIPPING INCURRED, RETURN SHIPPING INCURRED AND ANY LOSSES WILL BE SENT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL METHOD OF PAYMENT. ALL PERISHABLE ITEMS SUCH AS BUT NOT LIMITED TO WINE, BEVERAGES, FOOD, CONSUMABLE PRODUCTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. WINE IS PURCHASED AT YOUR OWN RISK, EACH AND EVERY BOTTLE IS SUBJECTED TO THE RISK OF TCA. BUYER IS SHOPPING AT THEIR OWN RISK. CORKED WINE/WINE TAINTED WITH TCA DOES NOT QUALITY FOR A REFUND.
SHIPPING INSURANCE
Shipping insurance is included on all orders and not optional.
PRE-ORDER SHIPMENTS
Pre-order shipments will be processed for transit once we have received, inspected and properly inventoried the wines into our system.
PERISHABLE GOODS
Wine, cheese, chocolate, edible/consumable items considered perishable items, it is crucial that the Buyer/Private Client/Receiver make every effort to receive their package during the initial delivery attempt. Any missed delivery could jeopardize the health and quality of the wine. Learnaboutwine.com is not responsible/liable for any missed deliveries, shipping issues, the wine state of health during transit and delivery is beyond our control.
Buyer/Private Client/Receiver assumes the risk of shipping perishable goods such as wine. If a package was damaged in transit from the carrier handling, the carrier may still attempt a delivery. It is the receiver's responsibility to note any damages with the carrier and officially listed on the shipment records prior to signing for the package for any reimbursement to be processed
PRIVATE CLIENT
Shipping/delivery is responsible and liable for conveying the shipping/delivery policy and compliance herein to all/any participating guests in their private event experience. Private clients may request and authorize communication service between Learnaboutwine.com and their guests for shipping/delivery.
ORDER PROCESSING TIME
Our office processes your order by transmitting your information to the warehouse for pick and packing fulfillment, depending on the queue, order processing may take more than 24 hrs. Express shipping service is not express processing time. If you have selected an express shipping service, your order will be sent out express, your order will still be processed first come, first serve in the queue. SHIPPING TRANSIT TIME
By the carrier is defined as the time of travel between the package pick-up point to the delivery point. Learnaboutwine.com makes no guarantees on transit time, the carrier and its operations are beyond our control.
SPLIT SHIPMENTS
Additional costs apply for splitting orders, shipments, and/ or delivery. Subject to our discretion.

Drop-ship are orders shipped directly to you from the manufacturer
REMOTE/ BEYOND POINT ADDRESS
is defined by the carrier as a address that requires additional travel beyond the carrier/driver standard route.
NO SHIP ZONE
We do not ship to APO/ FPO or P.O. Boxes addresses, military bases, government facilities, schools, countries the carrier refuses to ship to or government preventing the carrier to ship to or any location refusing to accept packages containing alcohol. A refund will be issued minus the return shipping cost and 25% restocking fee.
