Sardinia is so much more than just beaches—it's a destination famous for its ancient sites, mouthwatering cuisine and rich cultural experiences. This Mediterranean gem is a land of contrasts, where rugged mountains give way to pristine shores and centuries-old traditions thrive alongside lively coastal towns.

The scenery - the blue zones - the wineries - the restaurants and meal experience - these are the details we work to make exceptional travel memories.

We take smaller groups - approx 10-12 guests
We stay in nicer hotels when possible
We work to make the trips enjoyably detailed but not exhausting.
We want time to relax but also push to see the needed treasured sites.
We hope you will consider joining us - make a deposit to secure your position.

Sardinia Program:

Sunday, April 19: Arrival to Sardinia and welcome to Cagliari
Your Sardinia expedition begins in Cagliari, Italy, at Villa Fanny.
Leave at 3:00 pm and immerse yourself in the local culture by strolling through the charming streets of Cagliari’s historic center, climbing up to the Bastione di Saint Remy, the city’s most iconic lookout point. From here, enjoy sweeping views of this steep hillside city and its vibrant Mediterranean life.  Continue with a guided visit to the National Archaeological Museum of Cagliari, recently featured in the New York Times and home to over 4,000 artifacts spanning 7,000 years of Sardinian history
from Prehistory to the High Middle Ages. This museum is the most important exhibition space for ancient finds in Sardinia and offers a fascinating introduction to the island’s rich past. Before dinner, enjoy a gelato at I Fenu, where traditional gelato-making is elevated with the finest local ingredients and a creative twist on Sardinian flavors. Your first evening concludes with a welcome dinner at Casa Clàt Bistrot, a refined and contemporary boutique hotel and restaurant where Sardinian ingredients are reimagined with elegance and imagination. A perfect start to your culinary journey through Sardinia. (D)

Monday, April 20: Wine Tastings at Agricola Punica & Cantina Santadi
After breakfast, depart on a private transfer to the Southwestern corner of Sardinia, an area known for its powerful reds and ancient winemaking traditions.
Begin your day with a visit to Agricola Punica, one of Sardinia’s most renowned wine estates, located in the heart of the Sulcis countryside. Co-founded by legendary oenologist Giacomo Tachis, the estate produces elegant, Carignano-based wines such as Barrua and Montessu. Enjoy a guided tasting and
learn about the philosophy behind this ambitious project that blends tradition with innovation.  Next, continue to Cantina Santadi, a historic cooperative winery that played a key role in elevating Sardinian wine to international acclaim. Here, you'll enjoy a second wine tasting followed by a light lunch, paired with a selection of their most expressive labels, in an atmosphere that honors the local terroir and community roots. Return to Cagliari in the afternoon. The rest of the day is at your leisure. (B, L)

Tuesday, April 21: Local food shopping, Sardinian pasta class & lunch at Is Femminas  Your day begins after breakfast with a culinary adventure in the heart of Cagliari. Together with a local expert, you’ll head to traditional shops and markets to gather fresh ingredients—selecting meats from trusted butchers, vibrant seasonal produce from local greengrocers, and specialty products that
reflect Sardinia’s unique food culture.

Once your baskets are full, join Chef Maria Carta of Is Femminas for a lively Sardinian pasta- making class. Learn to shape iconic island varieties like culurgiones, and gain insight into the traditional techniques and family stories that have shaped Sardinia’s culinary heritage. Before sitting down to eat, enjoy the “Aperitivo della Blue Zone”, a pre-lunch ritual of local wine, handmade
salumi, and other small bites—celebrating the island’s longevity, culture and convivial spirit. Wrap up the experience with a lunch at Is Femminas, where the pastas and dishes you helped prepare are served with warmth and care, showcasing the bold, heartfelt flavors of South Sardinia.
Afternoon and evening at leisure. (B, L)

Wednesday, April 22: San Benedetto Market, wine tasting & Barumini’s Nuraghe
Begin your day after breakfast and checkout by immersing yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of San Benedetto Market, the largest and most iconic market in Cagliari. The air buzzes with the chatter of locals and the aromas of fresh produce, seafood, spices, and herbs. This is the beating heart of the city’s food culture, where you’ll discover Sardinia’s seasonal bounty and everyday culinary life.
After your visit, depart Cagliari by private bus and head toward the countryside for a tasting at one or both of southern Sardinia’s celebrated wine estates—Cantine Antonella Cordaand Cantine Argiolas. Enjoy a guided tour and tasting, followed by a light lunch that reflects the surrounding terroir and winemaking traditions.
In the afternoon, continue your journey inland to the Archaeological Site of Barumini, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to Su Nuraxi, Sardinia’s most famous nuraghe. Explore this Bronze Age fortress village and learn about the island’s ancient civilizations and their impressive dry-stone architecture.
Your day ends with a transfer to Antica Locanda Lunetta, a beautifully restored historic residence where you’ll check in and spend the night in the quiet charm of Sardinia’s interior. (B, L)

Thursday, April 23: Cheese tasting, heritage meats & the Centenarians of Seulo
Your day begins with a visit to Sinnos, the dairy workshop of Samuel, a passionate young cheesemaker who carries on the Sardinian tradition of crafting natural cheeses using fresh milk from his family’s sheep. Enjoy a guided tour of the small production space followed by a cheese tasting, where you’ll sample artisanal varieties that reflect the terroir of inland Sardinia. Afterward, take a scenic drive to the historic center of Seulo, one of Sardinia’s famed Blue Zones, known for the longevity of its residents. Walk along the Via dei Centenari, the street where many of the village’s centenarians have lived over the years, and gain insight into the lifestyle and traditions that support well-being and longevity.

Your lunch in Seulo will feature a curated tasting of heritage cured meats by Tonio Moi, including his renowned prosciutto di Seulo and traditional salami—products of a deeply rooted artisanal craft passed down through generations.  Return to Antica Locanda Lunetta in the afternoon for a relaxing evening. [B, L]

Friday, April 24: From the heart of Sardinia to the northwestern coast
This morning, depart from Antica Locanda Lunetta and begin your journey northward through Sardinia’s varied landscapes. Your first stop is Oristano, a coastal town rich in medieval charm and local traditions. Here, you’ll enjoy lunch at leisure, with time to explore a bit of the town’s historic center or simply relax before continuing on. In the afternoon, continue toward Alghero, where you’ll check-in at Casa Villa Marina, part of the Tenuta Sella & Mosca, one of Sardinia’s most iconic wine estates. Founded in 1899, the estate is surrounded by vast vineyards and history, offering a unique glimpse into Sardinia’s wine legacy. Conclude your day with dinner at the estate. (B, D)
