Winemakers will be panelist!  Meet the winemakers, get learnaboutwine and their vision… about the brands, a discussion of all things Central Coast, taste the wines, ask questions,  all while enjoying a great multi-course dinner at Alexander's Steakhouse. 

The wines - each winery will show off up to 3 different wines!  There will be an abundance of wine - food and great wine discussion meant for all interest and experience levels.   Because the more you learnaboutwine, the more you can enjoy it.  

Anthony Yount — Kinero Cellars / The Royal Nonesuch Farm

Anthony Yount is one of Paso Robles’ most respected modern winemakers, known for bringing a more restrained, vineyard-driven perspective to a region famous for powerful reds. He founded Kinero Cellars in 2008, initially focusing on serious, site-specific white wines such as Grenache Blanc and Roussanne, emphasizing freshness, minerality and California’s calcareous soils. Yount also spent years as the winemaker at Denner Vineyards and today produces The Royal Nonesuch Farm, an estate wine from his family’s seven-acre vineyard on York Mountain, farmed without herbicides, chemical fertilizers or pesticides. His philosophy is decidedly low-ego: let the vineyard, rather than the winemaker, define the wine.

Bret Urness — Levo Vineyard

Bret Urness is the founder and winemaker behind Levo Vineyard, one of the more individualistic small producers to emerge from Paso Robles. His path took him from Idaho to cellar work in Santa Barbara and even winemaking experience in Portugal’s Douro before launching Levo in 2011. Urness focuses heavily on Rhône varieties—particularly Syrah and Grenache—with an aim toward wines that combine Paso’s natural intensity with freshness, balance and energy. Today Levo also farms a 17-acre organically farmed estate in the Willow Creek District, while Urness remains closely involved in everything from winemaking to the distinctive artwork and identity of the brand.

Mark Adams — Ledge Vineyards

Mark Adams is a Paso Robles native, musician, farmer and winemaker whose story is deeply tied to the Willow Creek District. After working in Los Angeles as a sound editor for Sony Pictures, Adams returned to the family ranch where he grew up and began planting what became Adams Ranch Vineyard. Childhood friend Justin Smith of Saxum became an important mentor; Adams worked as Saxum’s first employee and assistant winemaker while developing Ledge. Today he makes concentrated yet remarkably balanced Rhône wines from Adams Ranch as well as acclaimed sites including James Berry and Bien Nacido. Ledge has become one of Paso’s most critically celebrated small producers, including a 100-point Jeb Dunnuck score for the 2021 Bien Nacido Block 11 Syrah.

Alexander’s Steakhouse is a fine dining interpretation of the classic American steakhouse with hints of Japanese influence laced into the menu.
