Oxygenation is the process of letting the wine air in the glass for a few minutes prior to tasting or consuming. Most wines will benefit with some time open so they can ‘breath.â€Â Wine is alive and if you were trapped in the bottle for a period of time, you would like to take a few deep breaths as well.
